After a litany of lame excuses to avoid going out, Marge has no sympathy
when Homer reports being trapped in two vending machines and decides to go
to the ballet with her neighbor, spirited Divorce' Ruth Powers. They strike
up a friendship and paint the town red. They visit Shotkickers, The Hate
Box, and Jittery Joe's Coffee Shop, ending their evening shooting cans with
an enormous gun. Meanwhile, Chief Wiggum discovers a lovelorn Homer at
lovers' lane and offers him a ride home. Ruth confesses to Marge that the
car she is driving was stolen from her ex-husband and when Wiggum tries to
pull the two women over a high speed cross country chase ensues |
