Grateful Dead Bean Bear Freedom - Birthday 7/4/87 at Schaefer Stadium     Tour Memory  "There's something special about being in Massachusetts on July Fourth, especially for a Dead show with Dylan on the bill.  The Dead played first and crammed two sets into one.  Everybody got the ball, including Brent on "Tons of Steel", and Phil on "Box."  The last set was Dylan and the boys.  "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight" with Jerry on pedal steel was precious.  So is being a deadhead in America."  8 inches tall $9.99 $4.99

Liquid Blues' Grateful Dead Bean Bear Liberty - Birthday 9/16/93 Madison Square Garden New York NY TOUR MEMORY:  After years of following the Dead, many of the shows run together, like a sonic blur. But I always remember the first time I hear a particular song. They blew my mind one night at MSG when they opened with one of my favorite Beatles tunes, Rain. They closed with another first for me, Liberty, a relatively new Garcia gem. It was as if Lady Liberty herself was giving us all a nod and a wink.  Grateful Dead Bean Bear Liberty - Birthday 9/16/93  Madison Square Garden New York NY   TOUR MEMORY:  After years of following the Dead, many of the shows run together, like a sonic blur. Liquid Blues' Grateful Dead Bean Bear Patriot - Birthday 6/12/76 Boston Music Hall Boston MA TOUR MEMORY: What a blessing it was being a kid in New England in 1976…Bicentennial hoopla everywhere. I remember myself and a few buddies hopped the T into town to catch our favorite band in a performance for the ages. They played Music Never Stopped early first set, and the words rang true. The encore was U.S Blues sandwiched in the middle of Sugar Magnolia , a musical backdrop to a scene as American as it gets.
